Flood Disaster in Bankso

Initial reports suggest that the Glazne River has burst it’s banks and caused much damage to the complexes on the right hand side of the road. The Guiness development, Bansko Royal Towers and Cedar Lodge are all said to be affected and further reports have suggested that at least 10 – 11 hotels have also been damaged.

Update:

The media in Bulgaria lists the following developments as most affected: “Royal Bansko Towers”, “Guiness”, “Stragite”, “Olimp”. It is also reported that “Lucky Bansko” and “Crystal Developments” have also suffered damages. The names of the rest of the complexes are to be announced shortly.

We have been informed that the following developments in Bansko have suffered damage;

Royal Bansko Towers

It is also clear that there has been damage to other hotels and holiday complexes in the area, so if you feel there is any chance your apartment will have been affected, you should contact your management immediately to ascertain if any damage has been suffered to your property.
